Why different ways to complete milestones and test runs

#1

Hi,

To complete a milestone, one must edit the milestone and then check This milestone is completed - as this is a different way than with a test run, I was wondering, why there is no lock on the view of a milestone, as it is on a test run ?

cheers

Hello Andreas,

Thanks for your posting! The difference is that closing a run is a non-reversible action which cannot be undone. The completed property of a milestone (same for projects) however is only a status field and can be enabled/disabled anytime.

I hope this helps!

Cheers,
Tobias
