Where are test results in the database?

#1

Hello,

I have looked at MySQL database tables and can’t figure out where test results are stored in the database. Using a SQL query, how I can find test results using ‘tested_by’ and ‘tested_on’ from the database for example?

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for your post! We would just recommend using the TestRail API to retrieve any result details instead of the database, as the API was designed specifically for this reason. You can use e.g. the get_results_for_run method for this (as this would also allow you to apply various request filters for created_by/before/after/etc in the request):

http://docs.gurock.com/testrail-api2/reference-results#get_results_for_run

Hope this helps!

Regards,
Marco
