[TestRail/FogBugz] Add/Push cases as a specific user

#1

Hello,

I understand that by enabling FogBugz integration plugin and specifying FB credentials (login, password) I can push test cases to FogBugz as myself (e.g., John Doe). There are several members on my team, each of which have their own FogBugz and TestRail accounts. To my understanding, currently FogBugz/TestRail plugin will work as follows:

  1. If Alice is logged in to TestRail, she will push a new test case to FogBugz as John Doe.
  2. If Bob is logged in to TestRail, he will push a new test case to FogBugz as John Doe.

I would like to know how to enable pushing cases using different user accounts, such that:

  1. If Alice is logged in to TestRail, she will push a new test case to FogBugz as Alice.
  2. If Bob is logged in to TestRail, he will push a new test case to FogBugz as Bob.

Thank you!

My bad, didn’t do enough research before posting. Resolved my question by creating user variables: http://docs.gurock.com/testrail-integration/defects-plugins-variables
