We’re currently finishing up development on TestRail 6.2, and need some volunteers to help us test the new features before we make it generally available.
Planned features for our 6.2 release are as follows:
- Fast Track Test Case Editing - a workflow improvement that means testers will now be able to edit their cases while using the fast-track (split pane) view in both the cases area and during test run execution.
- Save Validation - a system-wide enhancement to ensure that changes have been validated before they get committed to the TestRail database, to improve with audit and change history veracity.
- New Dynamic Filter Test Run Type - an additional test run type that allows you to define a filter for the test cases you wish to include in your run. Any test cases subsequently created or removed within the filter scope, will also be added or removed from your test run.
If you want to help Beta Test TestRail 6.2, please let us know - by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with subject title: BETA TESTING.
We’ll be in contact with further instructions once we receive your email. Alternatively, you can just leave a comment on this post.
Please note that depending on the number of responses, not everyone will get selected. If you miss out this time though, don’t worry; we’ll keep you on the shortlist for future opportunities.
Thanks in advance!
