TestRail 2.3.1 released



We are happy to announce the immediate availability of TestRail 2.3.1. The new version is a bug-fix and maintenance release.

Please note: If you are using the extended TestRail API, please email us to receive an updated version of the API as it has changed for TestRail 2.3.

What’s new in TestRail 2.3.1

]Fixed: Path of custom auth script (shown on the site settings page) contains mix of forward/back slashes (Windows only)[/]
]Fixed: Runs/suites/milestones with long names that wrap render incorrectly with the ‘medium’ view mode[/]
]Fixed: Admin overview may not show the latest log entries for a log file if it’s longer than the limit of the system log[/]
]Fixed: Possible errors/exceptions on the print/export pages may be included in the output (are now logged only)[/]
]Fixed: Exporting or printing large test plans and/or milestones with many sections may result in huge memory consumption (and possible out-of-memory exception)[/]
]Fixed: Fancybox popup for images may show black border (IE8 compat view only)[/]

Updating to the new version
As usual, you can update to the new version by installing it over your existing TestRail installation (there’s no need to uninstall your existing installation). The database upgrade wizard is automatically started when you access TestRail with your web browser. Please see the update instructions for details:

Please take the time to make a backup of your current installation before upgrading to the new version.



We do not seem to see the latest version available for download?


Hello Daniel,

we had to temporarily take the 2.3 release down previously and hadn’t linked to the new 2.3.1 release in the customer portal yet. We have added the release now and you should be able to download TestRail 2.3.1 now.
