I’m having problem sending e-mail notification after report is generated. When I try to send a test email from site settings i get an error like :

Sending the test email failed. Please see the following messages and server output for details:

From logs I get :

Hi Milos,

Thank you for your post. From the error you are getting it appears that the username and password that are being used to authenticate against your email server may be incorrect. Can you please double check the username and password to ensure these are in fact correct?

Yes, user can login to our email server. I am assuming that user which tries to authenticate with our server is one we define in Site Settings/ Email ?

Hi Milos,

Thanks for your reply! Yes, you are correct that the user credentials entered under Administration > Site Settings > Email is what would be used for the mail server authentication. The error just indicates that the credentials are incorrect for that account on the mail server. We would recommend reviewing your mail server logs as this should provide more details with the error to help you in troubleshooting the issue. Hope this helps!

Regards,
Marco
