SmartInspect Manual

I want to say your help manual is excellent. Most help manuals just throw content at the users and it’s sometimes hard to find what your looking for. You guys did a great job of layout out the format and content.

What tool did you use to create it if you don’t mind me asking?

Hello,

Thanks for the kind words. We did put a lot of work into the SmartInspect documentation so it’s great to hear that it is well received. We are using doc-o-matic to generate the online help and manual. It’s a bit pricey, but it was the only tool that could generate documentation for a .NET, Java and Delphi library back then when we started looking for one.

Ok thanks. I’m looking to create a help file myself and there are a lot of options out there. I’ve looked at the Sandcastle project and it seems great, but only works for .NET .

I’ll take a look at Doc-o-matic and see how it works.
