Runs Completed Timestamp

#1

I am trying to figure out to the minute when a test run is completed? Can someone suggestion how I can find this information out and what timezone the datetime stamp is recorded in? Is it the server time or the timezone of the user that closed the run?

#2

I believe it is the timezone in the Administration section of Test Rail (site settings):

Hi Joanna,

You can simply change the time zone under My Settings (per user) or globally under Administration > Site Settings > Application as Brian mentioned (thank you!).

BGanger thanks for the reply! It sounds like if the completed on datetime stamp uses the user’s default time zone, I will need to take that into account when I tried to determine the exact time a run was closed.

Hi Joanna,

Just wanted to add: the dates & times in TestRail always use the time zone of your own user account and not the time zone of the user who performed an action (e.g. closing a run).

Cheers,
Tobias
