Our workflow is to continually work out of a Test Plan across multiple code versions. If we mark a case as failed, and the bug gets fixed, we will re-run that case, and update it with a Passed result. For reporting, however, we’d like to see a snapshot of cases that had a fail at any time, not just cases that are still failing at the end. How can we accomplish this in a report?
Thanks for your posting! The Activity reports can be used in this case and they contain the complete activity and not just the latest status. For example, to create a report with the activity for a test plan you can use the Summary > Plan report from the Reports tab. This will include the full activity by default but you can limit this to select statuses (e.g. Failed) via the filter on the Activity tab when creating the report. Would this work for you?
