Printed report is not exactly what's on screen

#1

When I print a report (either on paper or as pdf), the colored little squares in the summary (indicating, passed, failed, etc.) have no color.
In other words: the explanation of the colors in the pie chart is not colored.

Tested with IE, FF, and several PDF Printers.
Any idea on this ?

Hi Cyrus,

Most browsers have an option to enable/disable background colors and this is often disabled by default:

(see the “Appearance” options in FF, for example)

I hope this helps!

Cheers,

Hi Tobias,

this works when I’m using the FF-print function.
Downside of this is, that the complete website ist printed (with all the TestRail tabs visible etc.).

What about the TestRail embeded print functionality ? There the problem still exists…

Hi Cyrus,

Thanks for your reply. This would be the same behavior with the popup/print views. The Print button on the popup window would open the browser print dialog and you can choose to enable background colors on this wizard.

I hope this helps!

Cheers,
Tobias
