Organizing Test Runs for Improved Reporting

As a new user to TestRail I had a general question about the setup of test runs to help with the reporting of results.

Is it better to add multiple results to the same test run (this would be for several users testing the same features)
Is it better to create multiple test runs (duplicates of the test run for each user)?

Hi Jon,

Thank you for your post and thank you for choosing TestRail. When adding multiple results to the same test within a test run, TestRail would report on the latest result. If you are wanting to see how different results compare then it would be best to run multiple test runs. If you are only worried about the latest result, then you could just have the one test run.

Hi Marty,

Thanks for the reply. That answers my question.

I am glad I was able to help.
