Organizing test cases for different Applications?

#1

I’m working to build out the test plans for a portion of the products that my company offers from scratch. I’m having a hard time on how I should organize the test cases that are specific to different application versions - Web, Web Mobile and our App.

Does anyone have any suggestions or examples on how they’ve designated and organized the test cases that are specific to each application within the overall Projects?

Should these be set up as different Test Suites, Sections or Sub Sections?

Hi craben,

When using the same test cases to QA the same product but under different environments we recommend using configurations. This allows you to create test cases once, then quickly setup a test plan that contains different runs for each configuration (Web, Web Mobile and App). You can find more info about this at the following video and document.
