Hello,

Thanks for your posting. You cannot use your browser to connect to SQL Server and you would usually call http://lhhydla0283:80/testrail/ to access the TestRail installer. I would also recommend reviewing our documentation on how to install TestRail on Windows:

http://docs.gurock.com/testrail-admin/installation-windows#installing_testrail

To connect to your SQL Server (e.g. to create the database and database user), we recommend using the SQL Server Management Studio (which is usually installed as part of the SQL Server installation).

I hope this helps!

Tobias

Hello Sarojini,

Thanks for your reply. Please make sure to follow the documentation which is a step-by-step guide for installing TestRail locally:

http://docs.gurock.com/testrail-admin/installation-windows

I can alternatively recommend using a hosted/cloud trial on our servers and this just takes two minutes to set up:

http://www.gurock.com/customers/testrail/trial/

I hope this helps!

Tobias
