New user does not get access



This is probably quite trivial, but nevertheless…

I have added a new user, giving him the lead role, assigned the user to the group that is used - and although he can log in he does not see the project I have set him up for.

I have compared his settings to mine, they seem identical

Evidently I must have missed something, but I cannot find what.

Thanks for your posting! Can you please check if the default access is overridden for the project? A project does not necessarily use the global roles/group of a user and you can override the project access per project (whitelist vs. blacklist approach). You can review the default access when editing a project under Administration > Projects (on the project’s Access tab):
