Log display within program

maybe it has been discussed before, but i could not find anything on it:

Is there a way to embed the log display in my own program?

(Or is this again a case of me not having read the documentation? )

There’s currently no control for embedding the Console or parts of it into your own application. But I know of a few customer who took the Redistributable Console (feature-reduced version of the full Console which can be deployed together with your application) and integrated it into their UI/application.

One example would be to offer a simple menu entry to launch the Console as an external application. At the same time, you can configure the SmartInspect library to log to this Console via a local named pipe. When the Console is started from the menu, you can enable logging and customers (or you) can check the logging/debug output.
