Jira don't show TestRail results

After we updated to TestRail 6.3.1.1006 + Jira-Plugin 1.0.1.106-70 some users experience connection problems between Jira and TestRail:

  • inside the Jira issue the “Log in to TestRail” buttons are shown
  • the user klicks on one of these buttons, TestRail login page appears and login works without problems, TestRail dashboard is shown
  • refreshing the original Jira issue page the “Log in to TestRail” buttons are still there instead of TestRail results

It is a bit annoying, because only some users are affected. Common actions, like pruging browser caches, using incognito tab, restart machine, re-login etc., do not help.

Any advice is highly appreciated. Thank you.

I want to say there were some JIRA issues with the 6.3 .xxxx version and might have been fixed with 6.4.xxxx

Howdy! The Testrail Plugin doesn’t include Samesite=None and Security=True when it creates session cookies, this is now required for browsers to use 3rd party cookies a detailed description is here: TR Safari Plug-in doesn't displayed linked TR cases or Test Runs
