I just like to know if the SmartInspect.dll signed?

Hello Tammy,

Thanks for your posting. Yes, the Gurock.SmartInspect.dll that is included with the official SmartInspect setup is signed with a strong name.

Tobias

Hi,

I don’t mean Strong Named, I meant Authenticode Signed along with Strong Named. Authenticode signing requires a verifiable certificate. I’m asking as we want to put your product (library only) on our backend servers but the system guys will not install them unless the assemblies are Authenticode signed with a trusted certificate.

Thx

Hello Tammy,

Thanks for your feedback. We currently do not use a verifiable certificate for the SmartInspect .NET library. That said, the source code and Visual Studio project files of the SmartInspect libraries are included in the SmartInspect setup and you could recompile and sign the DLL yourself if this is a critical requirement for you.

I hope this helps,
Tobias
