Integration with other automation tools

#1

We have an automation tool called Phenix which has an API interface(written in Python) that can be integrated with tools like testrail. What is the possibility?

Hello Venkata,

Thanks for your posting. TestRail’s API is a generic HTTP-based API and can be used from most/almost all test automation tools. We also offer official bindings for various programming languages and you can find the Python binding here:

http://docs.gurock.com/testrail-api2/bindings-python

A common approach is to add automation runs and results to TestRail via the run and result API methods:

http://docs.gurock.com/testrail-api2/reference-runs
http://docs.gurock.com/testrail-api2/reference-results

(e.g., add_run and add_results/add_results_for_cases)

Tobias
