How to get all test types from the database

#1

Hi,

I’d like to push our test cases into Testrail, but i’d like to check that the test “type” of my test cases currently exist in testrail.

So before I ‘create_suite’ I want to get all test_types in testrail and check that the test type of my test case exists before I do the push.

Is it possible to get all test types that currently exist?

Thanks,

John.

I think you are looking for the Case Type - if you are the Admin of the Test Rail instance you can go to the Administration tab --> Customizations --> Case Types.

All of the Case Types currently can be seen and if any needed to be added in they can be.
