How to bind TestRail API with Java + Eclipse + TestNG?

#1

Hi, I’m a newbie with TestRail and I don’t understand some issues…

I’m developing some automated tests with Java+Eclipse+TestNG and I need to integrate the results in my TestRail. I have been downloaded APIClient.java and APIException.java but I don’t know how to bind with the framework and TestRail. I tried to understand that links: http://docs.gurock.com/testrail-api2/bindings-java & http://docs.gurock.com/testrail-api2/reference-cases, but I’m very lost.

Please help me.

Thank you.

Hi,

Thanks for the post! With Eclipse, you should be able to drag and drop the API bindings’ “com” folder directly into your project’s ‘src’ folder. This will allow you to include the bindings directly in your project using import statements.

You would also be able to import the files using ‘File > Import’ as described on the Eclipse website here:

https://help.eclipse.org/2018-09/topic/org.eclipse.platform.doc.user/tasks/tasks-55.htm

Hope this helps!
