How to add multiple references to single test case

When creating new test case, there is a field named “References” I am using to link User Stories in Jira. If I want to link 1 test case to multiple user stories, what I should use as the separator, is it “,”?

Hi Ray,

Thank you for posting! Yes, you would link a test case to multiple user stories by separating the user story IDs with a comma ‘,’ character.

I hope this helps!

Regards,
John

Thanks John. If that is the case, there is bug in testRail which is if you link 1 test case to multiple references, when you come to the report “Coverage for References (Cases)”, the number of “Cases w/ References” is wrong because it simply duplicates the test case which has multiple references. Please check.

Read the above for JIRA and a case to multiple JIRA stories.
