How do you enter multiple expected results?

#1

Hi All

trying to figure out best practice for setting up test cases where one step has multiple expected results.

Right now we have 1 step and expected results says

Check A
Check B
Check C

but we’d like one expected result per box

Hi Mark,

Thanks for your posting. We would usually recommend adding all expected results to the same text box (as a list, for example). Alternatively, if you want to assign a status to each step, you can also format the steps as follows:

Step 1 Check A
       Check B
       Check C

With Step 1/Check A being a regular step with description/expected result and Check B/Check C just steps without a step description (and only the expected result).

Cheers,
Tobias
