Testrail was not configured for email/notification support.

How can we recover email address and PW when first logging in?


Hello Kevin,

You would be able to reset the password directly in the database. To do this you would simply update the user record (in the ‘users’ table) and set the following values:

salt: xv4kregi40eyortrqy1d
hash: 3e1bb0a896b92c950a449ecb5358cb10

This would set the password to ‘secret’ (without the quotes) and you could login to change the password then. I hope this helps and please let me know in case you have any further questions.
