Format steps when exporting to Excel (new row for each step)

#1

Hello!
Could you please help me to export test cases to Excel each Step in a new row (with test case id, title ect).
I wish I could import them back after making bulk changes

I think may be you can use the get_case API to get the case in json, then you can rewrite each Step by program in a new row and finally save it in a csv file.
And Excel can import csv to .xlsx.
By the way, do you have interest in using my Python wrapper for the official API?

Hello Anna,

Thanks for your posting. The CSV export always exports the steps in a single row, but you could look into using the XML export for this instead. What kind of bulk changes are you planning to do?

Cheers,
Tobias
