Does Test Rail support to have a report combined of test results

#1

Hi

I integrated my automated tests with TestRail trigger and execute my automated tests and use TestRail’s API to submit the test results. After that I can view the test suite with chart result (Pass, Block, Retest, Fail) and the detail of test result.

The below situation is my problem:
I have 10 test cases
Round 1: 7 passed and 3 failed
Round 2(only run failed case) 2 passed 1 failed

How can I combine two reports to one report: 9 passed and 1 failed

Thank you so much

Hi hoadoan

We use the “Comparison for Cases” report for showing the difference between the runs (Rounds).
You can see the cases on left, and columns for each test run (round) on the right.

If you use a test plan, with a test run for each round, you can get the overall view of the tests (final results for each test run in the plan) in the Plan Summary report

I hope this helps

Thanks wendytonks for your sharing so much

With the usage of Comparison for Cases we can see the the difference between the runs (Rounds).
However I only want to see the latest report which merged between 2 rounds run

About Test plan, I created a test plan A including many test suites (Accounts, Brands) and then I rerun test plan with new name B. However I don’t know how to get the overall view of the tests (final results for each test run in the plan) in the Plan Summary report
