Defects TAB missing?

#1

Hello

I just installed Testrail, integrated with JIRA and so far it looks good.

One thing I am missing is Defects TAB. Can it be configured anywhere?

Cheers!

Hello!

TestRail doesn’t have a dedicated Defects tab and links to JIRA issues in several places instead. TestRail focuses on integrating with the existing tools you already use instead of duplicating defects and requirements in TestRail. With JIRA, TestRail has a very rich integration and you can see TestRail’s test cases and results directly on the JIRA issue pages as well as add and view JIRA issues directly in TestRail. A good starting point for the integration is our blog and the JIRA integration documentation:

I hope this helps and please let me know in case anything is unclear or if you have any further questions!

Cheers,
Tobias

OK Testrails has Defects Tab in Milestones (after clicking on particular milestone)

Yep, sorry for the confusion  I thought you meant a dedicated top-level Defects tab for managing defects and issues. TestRail doesn’t have its own defect or requirement management modules and we prefer to integrate with other popular tools customers already use (such as JIRA, for example):
