Case numbers increasing by the thousands

We have a number of cases across our libraries for different applications we are developing.

What we have noticed in the past week is the case number jumping from 1000, up to 6000 and now showing 11000-15000.

We have not put in 10,000 cases in the past weeks.

We have put a number of Test runs in though, but even those numbers seem to have items missing, and I cannot see that we have 15000 test runs.

Any ideas on why this would be so.

Thanks for your posting. The test case IDs increase when you close test runs as this creates internal copies of the test cases (for versioning purposes). This is not something that you need to worry about and this is the normal behavior.

I hope this helps and please let me know in case you have any further questions.
