Cannot add a Jira custom field in testrail, field isn't presented

#1

Hi,

I created a custom field in Jira (Severity) and I am trying to add it in testrail as well.
I configured it as follow:

[push.field.customfield_10071]
severity_10071=on
label=severity
size=compact
type=dropdown
required=true

But for some reason it isn’t shown when trying to push from testrail (See attached)

The field is defined as mandatory in Jira so this blocks me from pushing new bugs from test rail.

Any ideas how we can solve this?
I followed all instructions of TestRail guide:
http://docs.gurock.com/testrail-integration/tools-jira-fields#custom_fields

The entry for the field is close. Turning it “on” or “off” is set in another place so it should be:

[push.field.customfield_10071]
label=severity
size=compact
type=dropdown
required=true

To turn a field “on” or “off” there should be a section with header [push.fields] that has a list of fields. Add your custom one to the list:

[push.fields]
<other fields>
customfield_10071=on

Thanks a lot @donalaya - that fixed it!

I appreciate your help!
