Can this be fixed with high priority: incorrect number of test cases

In TEST SUITES & CASES view, the number of cases shown for a section/subsection only counts the standalone cases, which is incorrect. Instead, it should count ALL the cases under that section/subsection. This is an important functionality that is missing now. Can this be fixed with high priority?

This would be great. This simple metric should be front and center.

Hi @jiekang & @andyroth - yes, we’ll get this fixed ASAP. Thanks for highlighting it for us!

Cheers,
Simon

Actually, when I looked at this some more with regards to maybe working on a fix for it, I remembered we were using those counts to generate tooltip graphs of test results in the test run view:

Changing the count would result in our needing to refactor the graphs also. We may yet do that in a future reporting related release, but it’s not something we’d implement as a small fix per discussion above.

I hope that makes things clear anyway!

Cheers,
Simon
