Browser Download Interferes w/Logging


If my development desktop has a browser download in progress, it slows or prevents logging data arriving from target system (a Win Tablet) to the desktop’s SmartInspect app. I tried using NetLimiter to throttle the browser way down (128kbps). Also used NetLimiter to set the browsers network priority to Low and SmartInspect’s to Critical (highest priority). Tried this with Firefox and Chrome (Desktop and Tablet running Windows 10).

Did not help. Still interfering with logging. As soon as the download is complete, SmartInspectlogging returns to normal.
