Any way to keep two TestRail servers "in sync"?

We have a requirement to keep an on-premise TestRail server, and another instance outside of our firewall, in sync with each other.

Is there a method where I can use the on-premise TestRail server as a ‘master’ and the external instance to be a ‘slave’ instance, so that the Test Plan on both servers is kept in sync, without having users accessing the external Testrail server to ever have any means of accessing the secured internal server?

Would it be possible to do this by making the backend MySQL instances on the servers act as ‘master-slave’?
