Another Integration question

#1

OK so I have gone through the set-up, added user name password and URL’s etc.

Now if I select Add from the TestRail results box my Jira opens at the add bug screen no problem.

If I select push it’s a different story I get the return:

Plugin “Jira_REST” returned an error: error:14094410:SSL routines:SSL3_READ_BYTES:sslv3 alert handshake failure

I have the connection set as

; Please configure your JIRA connection below.
;
; Note: requires JIRA 5 or later or JIRA OnDemand/Cloud. You
; can use the ‘JIRA SOAP’ defect plugin for older versions.
[connection]
address=https://jira.dev.../secure/CreateIssue!default.jspa
;address=https://jira.dev.
../browse/PRODREPORT/
user=%jira_user%
password=%jira_password%

Where do I need to look next. I have 35 UAT testers starting testing in 5 days and would rather get the push up and running

Cheers

Tim

Hi Tim,

Thanks for your posting. Can you please check if the address is correct (HTTP vs. HTTPS)? This looks like an issue with the SSL connection and it may be that your web server only supports SSLv3 which is no longer used in production systems and most libraries/platform now disable this protocol by default. Can you check if this may be the case?

Cheers,
Tobias
